Welcome to my world! I´m so happy you stopped by. Im a traveller at heart and wanted to make a web page to share my experiences with family, friends and other people who want travel advice. I´m glad you are here to join me on the ride!

I have seen the sun rise on the Himalayas. Slept on a roof in Varanasi in India were they burn several hundred people every day. Driven through the Bolivian Salt Desert. Sailed from Panama to Colombia through the most beautiful Caribbean islands. Driven through the Australian outback for a month. Made a documentary about transvestites in Kuala Lumpur. Stayed in a ukrainan village for two weeks to make another documentary.

I have always liked to travel to places I have never been, and to places where I won´t meet Norwegians everywhere and where they don´t sell Norwegian newspapers on the beach. The further away and the stranger the place, the better. This attitude has brought me to places like the slums in Kolkata in India, the African savannah, pacific islands and I have surfed the waves in the midnight sun in Lofoten.

I work as a television journalist in Norwegian Broadcasting. I have always had a strong interest in other cultures and people. I feel like the more I travel, the more I feel alive. When I was in journalism school, I spent 6 months in Malaysia as a student at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology outside Kuala Lumpur. I made documentary films and studied with people from all around the world. After these six months, I went on a two months trip alone around South East Asia. It was a mind opener in many ways. I just hopped on a bus and didn´t know where I was going. Those trips are always the best. You end up experiencing things you never thought were possible!

I have also studied at the Danish school of Journalism in Århus. During my time abroad studying or travelling, I have met some awesome people that I still visit around the world. I hope to create more travel memories in the future, and hope you want to join me on the way! Feel free to ask me questions if you like in the form below.
